The project was inspired by the Boston Dynamics Spot robot dog. Our goal was to create a cost-effective, LEGO Mindstorms EV3-based quadruped robot capable of stable and efficient walking using only two motors. The focus was on mechanical stability and center of gravity optimization, minimizing instability during movement. The Mindstorms EV3 platform allowed precise control of the robot’s legs and a modular, adaptable design.
